About Us
The Greene’s Learning Garden is a daycare center that provides childcare services for children ages 12 weeks to 12 years. We believe parents are looking for more than childcare, they are looking for partners to help them provide care for their children while they are at work or school. The Greene’s Learning Garden will partner with families looking for more than childcare. Our Staff will work with parents by offering a diverse culture, centered around literacy. We include literacy in every aspect of learning. Literacy builds engagement central to learning content such as, talking, reading, writing, and comprehension.
We nurture literacy experiences for; pleasure, to be informed, and to perform a task. All with age-appropriate lesson planning. We use high quality literature books that have won awards, such as the Caldecott Medal, which recognizes the preceding year’s “most distinguished American picture book for children” as well as Coretta Scott King Award, recognizing African American authors and illustrators for outstanding books for children and young adults, and the Pura Belpre’ Medal for Latino/Latina illustrators and authors whose work best portrays the Latino cultural experience in a work of literature for children.
Families who are looking for an early learning childcare center will be intrigued by our focus on literacy, coupled with our diverse atmosphere. Our program will captivate parents into enrolling their child in our early education partnership.

Hi my name is Ms. Andrea, I am a wife, a mom, and a mom-mom. I love to garden and spend time with my family. I have been in childcare for over 20years. I graduated from Delaware County Community College with a degree in Early Childhood Education in 2013, after I graduated, I opened up my home for Family Childcare. I love to see children playing and learning. My desire is to foster a love for learning that will last a lifetime.
Hi Friends! My name is Asheley, and I am very excited to have your child here with us at The Greene’s Learning Garden. I am looking forward to working with you and getting to know your child and helping them succeed in their education and participation during their school day! To be most effective I am asking you to become a partner with us in your child's education, while we will only have your child for a short time. We want to make a contribution that will last a lifetime.
I am currently a part-time student enrolled in Hutchinson Community College, majoring in Early Childhood Education.
Hello Parents. My name is Monalisa Hamilton. I am currently attending Harcum College obtaining my associates degree in Early Childhood Education. I am a Professional when it comes down to the Kiddos. I have been doing childcare for 26 years. I have blessed different areas in the Tri-State, including the South Philadelphia area which is where it began. I love children and I am a firm believer that children have fun while learning. I also believe that first impressions are everlasting. Knowing that children are like sponges, positive practices are the best teachers!
Hello my name is Ms. Zuri Smith. I graduated from Reach Cyber Charter High School June of 2020. Upon graduating I knew I wanted to further my educational skills toward working with children. I am currently enrolled in Community College of Philadelphia and major in Early Childhood Education. While there I was offered a teaching position at The Greene's Learning Garden. I love to work with children and help them grow. Teaching them their abc's and numbers and colors while making sure they're having fun is one of my goals. I want to make sure that whatever they learn from me will have a positive impact on them in the future.
